Welcome to iAdiuvo, an AI-powered application designed to help users to translate from Latin through photo analysis. Before using our app, please carefully review these Terms and Conditions. By downloading or using iAdiuvo, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms, you must discontinue the use of the app immediately.

1. Service Overview

iAdiuvo utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology to identify Latin texts from photos uploaded by users. The app allows users to upload an image, which is processed by the AI to provide details about the text and translate it.

When a photo is uploaded, it is sent to OpenAI’s servers for the recognition process. iAdiuvo does not store or retain any images on its servers. OpenAI, as the active service provider, processes the image for vehicle recognition. After the recognition is complete, the image is immediately deleted from OpenAI’s servers. iAdiuvo does not have access to or store any of the photos submitted by users.

2. User Responsibilities

By using iAdiuvo, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the photos you upload are of texts and comply with applicable legal standards.
  • You agree not to upload images that infringe upon the privacy rights of others, including unauthorized photos or personal data.
  • You understand and acknowledge that all photos are sent to OpenAI for processing and that iAdiuvo itself does not store, modify, or retain your photos.
  • You agree to use the app for lawful purposes only and not to misuse the service in any way that could damage or compromise its performance for other users.

3. Privacy and Data Handling

At iAdiuvo, protecting your privacy is our top priority. Here’s how we handle your data:

  • Photo Submission: Photos you upload to iAdiuvo are sent to OpenAI for analysis and recognition. These photos are immediately deleted from OpenAI’s servers after processing. Neither iAdiuvo nor its associated entities store or retain your photos at any time.
  • Data Retention: As mentioned, iAdiuvo does not retain any submitted images on its servers. Your privacy is assured because the images are used solely for the purpose of text recognition and are deleted immediately afterward.

4. In-App Purchases

iAdiuvo operates on a freemium model, meaning that while the app is free to download, usage attempts for text recognition must be purchased in packages. These packages of recognition attempts can be bought via the Apple In-App Purchase service.

  • Purchase Options: You can purchase various packages of recognition attempts, with the number of attempts available determined by the package you choose.
  • Apple’s In-App Purchase Service: All purchases are handled securely through Apple’s in-app payment system. Once a purchase is made, it will be charged to your Apple ID account, and any applicable billing will be handled by Apple directly.
  • Non-Refundable: All purchases made through the app are final and non-refundable in any circumstance. Please ensure that you select the correct package before confirming your purchase, as there will be no option for refunds or cancellations after the purchase has been completed.
  • Usage Limits: The purchased attempts are credited to your account, and once used, you will need to purchase additional attempts to continue using the recognition service.

5. License and Restrictions

By using iAdiuvo, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Use the app for any commercial purposes beyond personal vehicle identification.
  • Upload photos that do not relate to texts or attempt to use the AI recognition for unrelated purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

iAdiuvo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will function without interruption, be error-free, or meet all of your expectations. The accuracy of the text recognition and translation feature are based on the AI’s capabilities, and while we strive for accuracy, it is not guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iAdiuvo and its developers shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
