My name is Alessandro Manilii, and I am an iOS developer. I originally trained and got a degree as an Aerospace Engineer, but for over ten years I have been working in the mobile field, developing applications for Apple devices. I started studying this field as a self-taught learner, and as it became my full-time profession, I earned several certifications and participated in private events directly invited by Apple.

Currently, I am the head of the iOS department at Wakala, an IT company based in Rome, Italy. Our company has over a hundred employees and collaborates with all the major groups in the sector.
Throughout my career, I have worked on or started many high-profile applications. I have developed apps for banks, TV networks, airlines, car manufacturers, and more. I can proudly say that if you live in Italy and own an iPhone, there is a very high chance that your device contains code written by me.

Besides being a job, app development is a passion for me, and that’s why I create independent projects entirely on my own. This website encapsulates this side of my life as a developer.
